About Dave...

Even though the company has been around since 2005, Dave Edwards—owner and proprietor of Mohegan Firewood Company—is the tenth generation to live on his Connecticut land. For the last 40 years, the Edwards family has been a part of the holiday traditions of the locals, providing freshly cut Christmas trees from their tree farm. Dave has branched out, now supplying ready stock of various hardwood firewood to his customers throughout Fairfield County.

About the Process...

Tree companies that have—for whatever reason—surplus or waste quantities of trees will actually drop off the timber at the Mohegan Firewood Company, LLC. Then, using a Blockbuster Firewood Processor, we will manipulate the timber, cutting it into appropriately sized pieces. This high-tech approach helps to reduce the risk of injury to workers, improve the efficiency of turnaround, and cuts down on unnecessary waste.
